Artist Series

Vermentino 2023

A skin contact vermentino like no other, this wine is part of the VNTNR Artist Series released in February 2024, in collaboration with three young contemporary artists. Sitting alongside a 2023 grüner veltliner and biodynamic shiraz (2017), this bottle presents work "The Infinity of the Past” by Diego Ramirez. “It’s a neon piece from 2019, when I got really hard into vampires," explains Ramirez. “The lines create quite an abstract mirage, if you’re not already familiar with the image of Camazotz that it borrows from. The wine bottle is a ubiquitous object that is ingrained in our consciousness as a symbol. It’s very old and carries a wide range of meanings, from belonging to status… it was an exciting opportunity to participate in this process of making meaning.”
